Exception is an unwanted or unexpected event, which occurs during the execution of a program i.e at run time, that disrupts the normal flow of the program’s instructions.
exception handling is the process of responding to the occurrence of exceptions – anomalous or exceptional conditions requiring special processing – during the execution of a program.
There are exceptions that the programme will know are a possibility when an application interacts with a resource or a user and these exceptions can be handled.
